What are Master Points?

Master Points (MPs) are awarded to the winners of Amercian Contract Bridge League (ACBL) sanctioned bridge games. Generally, scoring in the top 40% of contenders will earn some MPs, usually a fraction of a point in Club games.

The number and kind of points awarded depends primarily upon the number of participants and the level of play. The points are either black or pigmented. Pigmented points are silver, red, or gold.
