Notes and Updates

July 21, 2014

*Strategic Planning*

As a follow-up to our July 5th Extraordinary Meeting, our next steps include holding further focus groups or workshops in the next couple of months. Several people have indicated their interest in being involved in one or more of these groups.

Workshop topics include working on ideas for our game schedule, reviewing programs for education and introducing new players to bridge, assessing options for a future facility, planning ways to promote our Club and to recruit and retain members, and examining our financial future.

If you did not get the opportunity to submit your name, speak to any Board member or game director. Everyone's input is valuable in moving our Club forward.

RDBC Partnerships

In an effort to assist members in finding a partner in a timely manner a Google Group called RDBCPartnership has been set up. To join you have to first ask to be included. To do this you can send an email to or simply ask Don Norman to be added to the group.

When you have been added to the group you will receive a conformation email from Add this email address to your contact list. You can now send an email to the group stating you are available to play and looking for a partner for a particular game(s). You will also receive emails from group members looking for a partner. When a partner has been found send another email stating you now have a partner.
