RDBC Regular Game Schedule

The following schedule gives the Regina Duplicate Bridge Club's regular game schedule. Be sure to check out the RDBC Calendar of Events

Find out about master points. If you have none, then you might want to choose any of the games called "Novice" or "Invitational."

We do have players standing by to play with you from September thru June for regular unrestricted games. However, there are no Standbys for Monday evening, Tuesday afternoon, or Friday evening games, as these are restricted point games. There are also no Standbys for the special games which we have from time to time (special qualifiers, Club championships, and ACBL or Canada-wide charity games).

  • Monday Afternoon Open Pairs
    • from 1:00 to 4:15
    • a stratified open game for any players with any number of points
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Monday Evening Novice Pairs
    • from 7:30 to 10:45. Come early at 7:00 as there is always a mini-lesson and question answering session before the game
    • a novice game in which both players must have under 100 points
    • beginners are particularly welcome to this 'coaching' game during which you may ask for help with any bid or play. This is a stratified event.
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Tuesday Afternoon Invitational Game
    • from 1:00 to 4:15
    • an stratified game in which both players must be non-Life Masters.
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Tuesday Evening Stratified Open Pairs
    • from 7:30 to 10:45
    • a stratified open game for any players with any number of points
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Wednesday Evening Invitational Pairs
    • from 7:30 to 10:45
    • an invitational game in which at least one player of a partnership must have fewer than 100 points
    • beginners are particularly welcome to this game

  • Thursday Afternoon Under 500 Game
    • from 1:00 to 4:15
    • a stratified game in which both players must have fewer than 500 masterpoints
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Thursday Evening Stratified Open Pairs
    • from 7:30 to 10:45
    • a stratified open game for any players with any number of points
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Friday Afternoon Open Pairs
    • from 1:00 to 4:15
    • a stratified open game for any players with any number of points
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • Friday Evening Non-Life Master Pairs
    • from 7:30 to 10:45. Come early at 7:00 as there is always a mini-lesson and question answering session before the game
    • a limited game in which both players of a partnership must be non-life masters
    • beginners are particularly welcome to this game
    • strats vary depending on the turn out at each game

  • • Saturday Afternoon “8 is Enough” Team Games – 1st, 3rd, & 5th SATURDAY OF EACH MONTH ONLY
    • from 1:00 to 4:15
    • 8 is Enough Teams
    • 4 person teams – any player with 750 or more points counts as a 3, any player between 300 and 750 counts as a 2 and any player under 300 counts as a 1. No team may have players that add up to a total greater than 8
    • stratified by average masterpoints
